Before our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven, He warned His disciples that there would “rise up false Christs and false prophets, and they shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce (if it were possible) even the elect” (Mk 13:22). These words have arguably never been fulfilled more concretely than in the person of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the man the world knows by his stage name of “Pope Francis”.

Miles Christi (“Soldier of Christ”) is a Catholic writer whose work we have featured on this web site a number of times before. He is the author of sundry compilations of Bergoglio’s various errors and outrages, and he has published veritable studies of Francis’ false magisterium. His work Four Years with Francis: Enough is Enough (2017) is a book-length exposé of Bergoglio’s apostate religion, which will continue unabated for as long as people recognize this man as the Pope of the Catholic Church.

A month ago, Francis released his encyclical letter Fratelli Tutti on human fraternity and social friendship. The content of the encyclical so clearly harmonizes with the tenets and goals of Freemasonry that the Spanish Grand Orient Lodge has come out in praise of the document.

Some may wonder why is this a problem. The answer is given by Pope Leo XIII, who wrote in 1884 that

the partisans of evil seems to be combining together, and to be struggling with united vehemence, led on or assisted by that strongly organized and widespread association called the Freemasons. No longer making any secret of their purposes, they are now boldly rising up against God Himself. They are planning the destruction of holy Church publicly and openly, and this with the set purpose of utterly despoiling the nations of Christendom, if it were possible, of the blessings obtained for us through Jesus Christ our Savior.

At this point, the Masons are openly flaunting their infiltration of the Vatican. As we reported in early September, the Vatican employs a cleric who openly admits to his membership in the Lodge and who just published a book arguing for the reconciliation of Catholicism and Freemasonry:

In his latest article, entitled “Francis, Fratelli Tutti, and Freemasonry”, Miles Christi compiles some excerpts from his prior work to show the connection between Bergoglio (and the Novus Ordo Church at large) and the Masonic Lodge. This latest essay by Miles Christi adds further material to the already-substantial case against Francis. May it open many more people’s eyes concerning the true face of the Argentinian apostate masquerading as the Pope.

As far back as the first century, St. Paul warned the faithful of false teachers who would mislead them under the appearance of being apostles of Christ:

For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers be transformed as the ministers of justice, whose end shall be according to their works.

(2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

In his Second Letter to the Thessalonians, the same Apostle warned of a great deception that would precede the coming of the Antichrist:

Let no man deceive you by any means, for unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition who opposeth, and is lifted up above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself as if he were God. Remember you not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now you know what withholdeth, that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way. And then that wicked one shall be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth; and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, him, whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, and in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: that all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity. But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit, and faith of the truth: whereunto also he hath called you by our gospel, unto the purchasing of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle.

What we are seeing in our day is the temporary eclipsing of the Papacy by the Vatican II Sect, which is presumably the “operation of error” St. Paul mentions. In 1921, Fr. Sylvester Berry wrote in his explanation of the Book of the Apocalypse that the False Prophet of Antichrist would be a false pope reigning while the Church is deprived of a true Pope.
